On June 1, 2008 the University Students will begin meeting in Room #501 on Sundays at 9:15a.m. for a Bible class taught by this team of teachers - Chris McGimsey, Bryan Sherrod, Shawn Robichaud and Mike Sansom. We will be studying the book "The Pursuit". |

VBS at Grandview
At the planning meeting on May 28th, the majority of you chose for us to host the Grandview VBS on June 22-24. That means we have three weeks to prepare. I talked with Roberto Santiago last Friday, and he said those dates work for Grandview. So on June 22-24 (Sunday-Tuesday) the Young Professionals Class will host a VBS for Iglesia de Cristo en Grandview at 2605 Nolensville Road. Everyone will need to arrive between 6:00 - 6:15 p.m. for the nighttime activities from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Most of these children speak English, so you do not need to speak Spanish in order to help with the VBS activities for the children. if you can help with songs, Bible stories, skits, crafts, games and snacks. We need 2-3 people who can speak Spanish to work at the registration table each night to greet the children and their parents since some of parents do not speak English. |

The University Students Support Team at Brentwood Hills is busy working on plans for the Fall 2008 Semester such as "THE FIRE" (Free food, games, sports, a fireside devo, and an outdoor, giant screen movie) at The Henderson's home in August, 2008. We are making plans for Bible classes, a retreat, a trip and many other activities. We are looking forward to seeing the students who will arrive in Nashville in August 2008. |
